Greetings and Salutations!

Salutations!

I always feel like I need to put a greeting at the beginning of this blog, other than in a few rare instances where I’m exited and say something along the lines of “OMG OMG OMG.” I always spend some time thinking over what to use.

A greeting is the first word or group of words that your reader well, reads. It should draw the reader in and want them to continue reading. Now this is a lot of pressure on such a small group of letters!

Today’s greeting I got from the classic book and movie Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White. If you have never heard of this story I suggest you run to the nearest library or book story and get it. Once you finish go to the nearest video store or Video rental store and rent it! There is a very smart spider in this story (Charlotte) who talks to the main character of the book Wilbur, who is a pig. The first time the two characters meet Charlotte says “Salutations” and that is what inspired today’s greeting!

Now not all of my greetings have inspirations. Okay today’s is the first one that does other than the “OMG OMG OMG” I used once (which was inspired by being really exited.) I think I should start to be a little more creative with my greetings. Now I always try and put some meaning into it, but that usually doesn’t turn out.

Okay you can start your exited squeeling now. None? Okay yeah I know one to five words in a blog isn’t all too exiting, but I hope it will spice up the first line if not more!
